Bankrupt Magazine was an online literary magazine, showcasing the latest fiction and creative non-fiction stories from Vancouver writers. It was published from 2009 until 2010.

The stories published in Bankrupt were written for readers. We believed that a story should be exciting, that it should grab you and say: “Hold on tight, this is going to be wild.” Bankrupt sought stories that enticed readers, that didn’t simply exist as remote art. We’re proud of the stories we published, and we thank the writers that allowed us to share them with the world. At the end of the day, Bankrupt was one hell of a ride.

Bankrupt Magazine was founded and edited by Sean Casey and Meredith Hambrock.
